The Old St Thomas Chapel is an intimate venue to arrange yours or your loved one’s funeral or memorial service. You can book the Chapel directly with our office or speak to your Funeral Director who can liaise with us on your behalf.
Available for hire mid-week during the day or evening.

The Chapel can seat 140 people comfortably.

Facilities for audio visual presentations are available for your use.  A wide screen TV with HDMI, USB and sRGB connections is always available and aDVD player can be set up specially if required. You provide the laptop, USB thumb drive with exported MP4 video, DVD or other media. Please call our office to discuss your requirements. We have music facilities available to play any special music. It’s easy to plug in your mobile device and use a Spotify playlist or similar. Otherwise we can accommodate CDs, USBs and other AUX connections.

Funeral Price Guide

Hire of Chapel Only
Provides a 2 hour rental starting half an hour before your scheduled ceremony start time

Hire of Chapel & Celebrant
Includes meeting with the celebrant to prepare and plan the service. Please see the celebrants on our Preferred Suppliers Page marked with a ‘ ## ‘

Hire of Chapel for a Viewing
Hire the Chapel for up to 1 hour of a day or evening for an open casket viewing. May be organized by your funeral director with us directly.

Extra Time
$250 per half hour (where bookings allow)

Payment in full is required on or before the day. We accept cash, cheques, VISA and Mastercard.
